The Yoga of the Voice Certification is offered in Modules of a few weeks each. Each Module has a particular topic, and students accumulate hours and practice.
Students register for each Module independently.

The next module starts on April 21st.  If you decide to take it and have inquiries, send us an email and include where you are located, and why you wish to take this Course.

Yoga of the Voice is opened to new and returning students

•Realize and refine the sense of space and the quality of your sonic presence when usesing your voice in any capacity (from speech to deep chant)

Becoming aware and engage with the infinite space between tones,  refine intonation, and expand vocal range by means of sonorous yogic practices

• Understanding and becoming open to emotions as creative expression, de-personalizing the voice by paying attention to sound and the space of silence.

• Listening with the Body to Connecting with the Source of Embodied Voice

• Introduction to the Art of Indian Ragas, Mindful Tone-Breathing and the Chant of Dhrupad

•  Deep Listening and sound practices that feel good and encourage new portals for creativity and Facilitation of Chanting Circles

• Experience the joy of spontaneous self-expression beyond impediments and an immersive contemplative experience

• Explore the voice as energy and a sound that heals and feels free of conditioning

• Learn about Voice and Sound Healing Applications that implement the voice

When the Voice opens it unveils our divine nature, and we feel/sense/connect with our innate radiance, freedom, and joy. Through gentle guided vocal meditations, we approach the voice as “energy that can be liberating”. As we become more aware of our subtle-energy-body,  and  experience the unbounded space and time of a body and mind that is clear and focused on inspired sound.  This embodiment of the voice creates a new and inviting soundtrack for our lives, building greater self-confidence, engaging the creative imagination, and refining tone production. The result is a vivified musical practice and a professional successful practice, if this is your path.

For more than 20 years, this program has been evolving around an ancient paradigm:

Welcome vocalists, singers, composers, sound practitioners, musicians, yoga teachers, and spiritual wellness seekers in search of uncovering their voices.

Therapeutic Voice Clinics are also part of the Yoga of the Voice curriculum on a one-on-one basis, or in-person sessions.

The Yoga of the Voice is the only standing formative and mentoring program that focuses on the VOICE as ENERGY (prana, life force), beyond ‘personality’ conditioning. The courses integrate many traditions of voice cultures, including original songwriting techniques, music theater, sacred sound, and “yogic” chants to burn away impurities of the body and the mind, clearing emotions, and, ultimately, attaining liberation from all conditions. Like no other training, the Yoga of the Voice integrates Western modern extended vocal techniques with the discipline and science of yoga, deep listening, and the solid foundation of the Indian ragas.
