Creative expression is an entrancing and a mysterious enigma, and since the transformative power of sound is irrefutable, it’s feels urgent to foster and expand the sensibility and consciousness of the healing artist. Mentoring makes mastering.
We have carefully selected the “hot topic” of each of these sessions by listening to the essential needs and interests of our community of students and practitioners. Thus, we’ll provide and connect knowledge, spirit, energy, lineage, technique, will, and the awakening qualities of dharma art.
This is a perfect time for deepening our practice, and Vox Mundi is probably the most experienced and independent school that can provide the suitable space to inform, inspire, and illuminate the mystery of the creative equation on these vital topics, and in each practitioner’s personal inquiry.
The immersion session will offer an experience of unusual intense concentration, resulting in heightening auditory discernment, and a merging of action and a deeper awareness of Self – that might encourage transcendence – or a lost of Self.

The Shruti Box Immersion _ February 27, & May 1 st 7-9pm
All you want to know to let the shruti box to become your music teacher and best accompanist. Includes original repertoire of improvisation, sounds, and chants.
Deep Listening Immersion_ March 6, 7-9pm
Sound & Vocal Meditations inspired and in the spirit of Pauline Oliveros. These teachings are essential to build the genetic code of a sound practitioner.
Extended Vocal Techniques Immersion _ March 13, 7-9pm
Teaching your voice to be free from words, and enhance the sensitive to new sounds and contemporary strategies of improvisation and composition.
Shamanic Music & Sound Healing Immersion _ September TBA, 7-9pm
Remembering and returning to the Source of sound and music healing. Build the sonic skills required to facilitate a shamanic journey, and learn new techniques that integrate the drum and the voice. Develop skills on playing sound healing instruments.

Through mentoring and creative inquiry, practitioners will also expand a repertory of practices, techniques, and chants that will help them to define and assert the field of expertise that they wish to develop. An outcome of these sessions will also be to activate community gatherings and creative collaboration.
Practitioners can choose to attend any session or the whole series.
FEES: $40 per session or the Whole Series on fee of $140 (in advance)
