“The appeal of shamanism is that it is universally inclusive. It is not a religion or dogmatic belief system; rather, it is a way of being, and a way of interacting with the experience of life. As such, it is not reliant upon any particular spiritual practice or belief system. One needs only to be alive, and willing to explore the depths of the human heart, for its wisdom to be revealed.” –  Mateo Magee
