Programs – Sound Healing

What is Sound Healing?

Sound healing is a holistic and integrative modality in which intentional sound, shifting frequencies, music, and vibrational medicine are used for altering ones physical, emotional, consciousness state. This broader and cross-cultural approach includes, complements, and enriches music therapies, for it is more scientifically informedand spiritually inspired.

  • Is based on concepts of life that recognize vibration as the fundamental creative force
  • Every tone is a living cell. It is a microcosm reflecting faithfully the macrocosm, its laws, its center. A tone is a solar system, Dane Rudyar
  • The Voice is Energy, as the fabric of breath, vibration and emotion. It affects the body and the mind more efficiently than any other form of sound.
  • Vocal sounds are a primary source of energy to the brain and the spirit world
  • Music holds the key to remembering our origin & reconnecting with ancestral lines,  and the Source of all creation
  • Sound is God_(Nada Brahma) _Through Music, One can reach God

As Dr. Mitchell Gaynor, M.D. emphasizes:
Sound and music enter the healing equation from several directions:

 It may alter cellular functions through energetic effects;
It may entrain biological systems….,
It may be calm the mind and therefore the body,
It may have emotional effects which in turn help to regulate

the immune system – the healer within.

As a result the therapeutic use of sound:

  • Reduced anxiety, heart, and respiratory rates
  • Reduced cardiac complications
  • Lowered blood pressure
  • Increased levels of immune cell messengers, molecules that help regulate the activity of other immune cells
  • Drop in stress hormones that activate our body’s flight-or-flight response
  • Boost in endorphins, “the brains natural painkillers”, which in turn help build a stronger immune system.
