YOGA OF THE VOICE - Workshops & Retreats

Like shamans, yogis, and mystics, today’s sound and music healing practitioners use sound, music, and the voice as gateways to transcendence, the exploration of consciousness and social change. Integrating science with the wisdom of sacred and aboriginal sound practices, Silvia Nakkach and the Vox Mundi International faculty lead participants in an exploration of the role of intentional sound, voice, music and conscious presence in assisting psycho-spiritual insight and healing.

Merging sound and music therapy practices with the traditions of Indian, Tibetan, and Afro-Brazilian, Celtic, and many other traditions of devotional chanting, students learn innovative forms of vocal improvisation, shamanic rhythms, and divine utterances. Participants experience an innovative and unique cross-cultural model for using sound, voice, and music in contemporary therapies and performance, with an emphasis on spiritual autonomy and renewal. In this fascinating seminars information meets inspiration, and inspiration meets creative inquiry, towards a precise and significant integration with the prior practitioner personal and professional practice. The programs are open to all regardless of levels of experience and musicianship. Register for any of Vox Mundi programs and have a direct experience;
